Began community service in 1970 with the Malak El-Qebly Association, and volunteered in several NGOs, including St. Joseph Association and Anba Mousa Al-Aswad Association.
Launched various services in the most impoverished areas, such as patient support and aid for the poor in Basateen and Dar El Salam.

Holder of a diploma in Secretarial Studies. She volunteered at Anba Mousa Al-Aswad Association from 1996 to 2000, and officially joined in 2001 as a development project coordinator.
Currently serving as Treasurer of Anba Mousa Al-Aswad Association with 25 years of experience in development work across several areas, including participatory rapid appraisal, health and environmental awareness, reproductive health, and youth life skills.
She contributes to raising community awareness in Ezbet Khairallah by implementing several donor-funded projects, including rights-based programs and the management of housing and lighting improvement projects in the area.
She has extensive experience in education and literacy and serves as the coordinator of the literacy program “Ala El Asl Toor” in collaboration with ProLiteracy.
Ms. Maryam Farid Sedhom
Secretary of the Board – Anba Mousa Al-Aswad Association
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She volunteered at Anba Mousa Al-Aswad Association from 1998 to 2000, and joined as a development project coordinator in 2001.
Currently serving as Secretary of the Board. She has 26 years of experience in development work across several fields including health and environmental awareness, reproductive health, and youth life skills.
She contributes to raising awareness in the Ezbet Khairallah community through implementing several donor-funded projects, including rights-based programs and the housing improvement project.
She also has extensive experience in education and literacy, and serves as the coordinator of the literacy program “Ala El Asl Toor” in collaboration with ProLiteracy.
Dr. Tandyar Samir Mossad

A medical doctor holding a diploma in Obstetrics and Reproductive Health from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
She also holds a diploma in NGO Management from the Faculty of Economics, Cairo University.
Dr. Tandyar has 30 years of experience in the development field and has worked with various international organizations including Save the Children, Near East Foundation, and the Center for Development Services. She was responsible for designing and leading development programs.
Since 2011, she has been the General Manager of Josaab Foundation for Community Development, which leads Egypt’s first hospice initiative.
She has received several global awards:
2004: Selected as a Social Entrepreneur in the Arab World (Ashoka).
2009: Recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative for her work in public health.
2011: Received the ANN–C International Award for integrating sexual and reproductive health education into literacy programs (USCAL International Banquet), awarded by Mrs. Barbara Bush.
2016: Delivered a TEDx Talk on hospice and palliative care in Egypt.
2018: Selected as a leader of the Hospice Movement by the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA).
2020: Nominated as one of Egypt’s Top 100 Most Influential Social Entrepreneurs.
